Hopin is a cloud-based virtual event platform, meaning there is no software to install.
PC users: If you are using Windows 7, please make sure you have access to another computer running on Windows 10. Windows 7 is not fully compatible and updates to the Hopin platform since January 2020 have not supported Windows 7.
Mac users should be okay. If you are a speaker make sure you you have “Screen sharing” and “Screen recording” on under your Settings. A laptop or desktop is recommended for speakers, with Chrome or Firefox as your browser. If using an Apple mobile device use Safari. If you have tried all other troubleshooting tips you might need to try updating to a more recent system software.
Mobile users who are attendees only can download the mobile app to view event segments, participate in chat, and go onscreen in the Networking area.
